I remember hearing Metallica(heavy metal) for the first time. I thought, "wait a second, is this really happening." It was guitars blaring, drums pounding, and bass blazing as fast as anything I had ever heard before. It was over for me. Music as I had known it before that day had become obsolete. I had to toss the old Morrisey and Depeche Mode albums. I was on to something big, something better. 20 years later and my wonderful wife is wishing that I had grown out of it. I thought maybe I would when I was older. Now that I have a few grey hairs in my beard, I still continue to rock. I love the metal... The good news is so do my boys. I was blessed with 3 wonderful boys that love to rock just as much as me.
